Leave the screen and come back so the checklist re-reads your account. The accountant task in particular only completes once the firm has accepted.
Complete your account setup
The setup card on your dashboard tracks the few things that make AirBill run by itself: your bank, your AirBill email address, and your accountant.
Your dashboard shows a Complete account setup card with a progress ring. Tap it to open the checklist. Tapping a task takes you straight to the screen where you finish it; nothing is ticked off by hand, because AirBill works out what’s done from the real state of your account.
The tasks
- Connect your bank — so transactions come in automatically and can be matched to your invoices and receipts.
- Choose your AirBill email — your own AirBill address for receiving documents and sending invoices.
- Invite your accountant — this one only completes once your accountant actually accepts, not when you send the invitation.
A fourth task, Connect your inbox, appears only for businesses that connected Gmail earlier. New businesses use the AirBill email address instead — see Manage your connections.
Dismissing the card
The ✕ hides the card. That’s remembered per business on that device, so other businesses keep their card, and the same business may still show it on another phone. Your progress and connections are untouched.
The card is the only route into the checklist, so once dismissed there’s currently no button that brings it back on that device. You can still finish every task from its own screen: the bank under Profile → Connections, your address under Profile → AirBill email, and the accountant invitation from your Inbox while it still offers Invite accountant.
