Flag an entry for review
Put a single entry in front of your accountant with a one-line reason — and read the flags Bill raises himself.
Open the entry and choose Flag for accountant review from its actions menu. AirBill asks for one short sentence saying what to look at — for example “Not sure whether 21% VAT applies here”. A few words is enough, but the reason can’t be empty.
The entry then shows a Flagged for accountant review panel at the top with your reason, and it moves into the Flagged bucket in Activity.
Flags Bill raises
Bill flags entries himself when he isn’t sure a booking is right. He applies the correction he believes is right first, then flags it — so your accountant opens an entry that already reflects the fix and just confirms or disputes it.
The panel says which of you it was: Bill flagged this or You flagged this. Open the entry to read the reason behind either.
What a flag is not
- It isn’t created by your accountant. A flag is a way of putting something in front of them.
- It isn’t a message. If you want a conversation, start one from your Inbox — see Conversations with your accountant.
- It doesn’t block anything. The entry keeps its booking and stays in your administration.
The flag stays open until it’s resolved, which is what keeps it visible in the Flagged bucket.
